After acquisition, the PE firm had replaced the CTO and installed a new Chief AI Officer drawn from the PE firm itself. The mandate was direct: get AI governance into shape across the carrier's technical and security audience, but do not slow the AI use that was already happening. The hardest part of this work is doing both at once.
The session confirmed the team's security posture and aligned the group on how to leverage Claude Enterprise controls to apply security best practices without discouraging or inhibiting AI use. Governance and adoption moved forward together, rather than in tension.
